These terms govern your use of huronas.com (the "Site") and purchases made on it. The Site is operated by Huron Applied Sciences, LLC ("Huron," "we," "us"), which sells products under the HURON brand. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

The Site runs on Shopify, which provides our online store platform and payment processing.

1. Who may buy

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order. We sell to individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations, and government institutions.

2. Products and descriptions

We try to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colors may vary by screen, and packaging may differ from the photos. Pack sizes are as stated on each listing (for example, "Single" or "Pack of 10"). If a product isn't as described, your remedy is to return it under our Refund and Return Policy.

3. Prices and availability

Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. Stock shown on the Site is updated regularly but is not guaranteed. If an item turns out to be unavailable, or a price was listed in error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full.

4. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it. We may refuse or cancel any order, including for suspected fraud, an incorrect price, or an address we cannot ship to; if we do, we'll refund any amount charged.

5. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments. You confirm you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

6. Sales tax

Sales tax is calculated at checkout and collected where required, in the states where Huron is registered to collect it. If you are tax-exempt, email us your exemption certificate before placing your order; we cannot refund tax already collected on a completed order.

7. Government and agency purchasers

huronas.com is a commercial online store. Orders placed here are commercial purchases at the prices shown, are not placed under any GSA schedule or government contract, and are governed by these terms. Government buyers paying by government purchase card are welcome. To buy through GSA Advantage or another government channel, please use that channel instead.

8. Shipping, risk of loss, and returns

Shipping is described in our Shipping Policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is delivered to the carrier; we will still help with damaged or lost shipments as our Refund and Return Policy describes.

9. Product use and warranty

Use products only as intended and follow any instructions and warnings that come with them. Except as stated in our Refund and Return Policy, or as required by law, products are sold "as is," and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows. Any manufacturer's warranty that comes with a product is passed on to you. HURON does not offer a warranty of its own; you may return most items within 90 days of delivery under our Refund and Return Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Huron is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our products, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Use of the Site

Don't misuse the Site: no unlawful use, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, and no scraping or copying of its content for commercial use. The Site's content, including text, photos, and the HURON name and logo, belongs to Huron or its licensors.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Champaign County, Illinois.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted on the Site when you place an order applies to that order.
