Huron Applied Sciences, LLC ("Huron," "we," "us") operates huronas.com and sells products under the HURON brand. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from the Site, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and order details: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address.
  • Messages you send us, such as return requests or questions.
  • Account details, if you create an account.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments. We do not see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, Shopify and the tools we use collect device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site, using cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

  • To process, ship, and track your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
  • To communicate with you about your order and answer your questions.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the Site secure.
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
  • To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
  • To send marketing email, only if you opt in; every email has an unsubscribe

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store, and only as needed:

  • Shopify, our store and payment platform ([Shopify's privacy

  • UPS, to deliver your order (name, address, and phone for the label).
  • Our accounting system, for order and tax records.

We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

Cookies

The Site uses only the cookies needed to run the store (for example, to keep your cart and complete checkout). You can control cookies in your browser settings; blocking some may stop the cart or checkout from working.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed to fulfill orders and to meet tax and accounting record-keeping requirements, and other information only as long as it is useful for the purposes above.

Security

We use reasonable measures, including those built into Shopify, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. Email support@huronas.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep some information where the law requires it (for example, order and tax records).

California residents may have additional rights under California law, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
